California Dreams

What a summer we have had! Unfortunately my blog has been pushed aside!

At the beginning of July, we spent a week in Newport Beach with Chad's entire family. Basically, we did nothing and it was perfect. I sat at the beach all day everyday and enjoyed the California sun and ocean breeze! I was able to read three books on the trip (I highly recommend the Hunger Games series and The Heart of the Matter.) Chad spent his mornings on bike rides and golfing. Other than that, we would take the Beach Cruisers to the pier and we ate amazing food pretty much non-stop! Seriously, I didn't know I could eat so much food! Some of my favorites included Maggiano's (everything about it was delicious), a Chocolate Chip Pizzookie from BJ's Pizza, and Seaside Donuts. Other highlights included fireworks on the beach on the 4th of July, an Anaheim Angels MLB game, and spending a week with Chad and his family!
